Five people shot outside of night club in SC
Charleston County Sheriff's Deputies say a fight that broke out at a club on Edisto Island called the Pitt early Saturday morning, led to five people being shot.
According to investigators, four males and a female were shot after a disturbance call was received around 4:40 a.m. Deputies responded and found four victims still on site with bullet wounds.
"At this point it appears to be a fight inside of the club," said Major James Mrady, spokesman with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office. "As people were trying to leave the club, they heard gunshots out in the parking lot."
The victims were transported by EMS to Roper St. Francis hospital and MUSC. A fifth victim had left the scene and was transported to Roper St. Francis in a private vehicle.
None of the injuries are considered life threatening.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and a suspect.
