I don't know why, if there is an amnesty, Orlando wouldn't take advantage themselves rather than taking on two cumbersome contracts. Also don't think Villanueva would start in Orlando. If there is a reduced cap, the Magic are a prime team to NEED amnesty, rather than acquiring more expensive contracts. They have $76.2 million committed to 10 players for next season. That said, I like the Warriors. I'm not sold Mark Jackson is the answer as a coach, but the players will respond to him if he approaches the situation right. I think we will see them play more as a team, play more defense, and really start to scare people. They have the talent to beat anyone in the league on any given night, and I think they'll make the playoffs. I apparently have a different point of view, because I really liked the Smith pick. Sure, they have a lot of guards, but how many of them are point guards? Just one - Raymond Felton. Armon Johnson is a combo guard. So is Elliot Williams. Roy and Matthews are shooting guards. Patty Mills, if he does return, is a PG, but Coach Nate McMillan clearly doesn't trust him to run the show. I could be wrong about this, but I'm not necessarily sure a trial attorney is overly concerned with being on the "winning" side. As long as that happens they won't learn how to win. The talent is there, but the leadership is not.
